If you make it in trading, what you really earn isn’t money. It’s freedom and time.

I’ve been living between Seoul and Seattle. I just came back to Seoul and will be here for now.

Not because of markets.
Not because of money.

Because of family.

My wife is happier in Korea. The cafes, friends, safety. My son just turned 3. That hit me. I want him fluent in Korean. I want him to know his roots.

That’s what trading gives you. The ability to make life decisions without asking a boss.

If you make it, you don’t just earn income. You create options.

I can scalp 30 minutes to an hour in premarket and make a living. Most days I trade about two hours. The rest of the day is mine.

I’m a hyperscalper. It’s hard to alert. It takes hand eye coordination, tape reading, tight risk control, fast judgment, and a solid port. You’re in and out before most people react.

That style isn’t for everyone. That’s fine.

This was never about a Lambo.
Not about Patek or a boat.

It’s about freedom.

Recently I had my third kidney stone. I only have one kidney. I donated the other to my mother in law when she was on dialysis. Now doctors say repeated stones are risky.

I’m turning 46 next month. Health hits different at this age.

That’s another reason I spend more time in Seoul. I eat better there. Less junk. Environment matters.

Trading lets you adjust when life demands it.

If I can make it, you can make it. Most of you are young. time is on your side. I didn’t know what trading was until I was 30.
